Queens company fined, for no fall protection for employees

Bass Plumbing and Heating Corp., a Queens plumbing contractor, was issued three serious citations, with $4,875 in fines, for no fall protection for employees working near the building's edge, no fall protection training and no fork truck training. Linear Contracting Co.,

A Staten Island carpentry contractor, was fined $2,250 for two serious citations for no fall protection and no fall protection training; and Michael Ferrante Construction Co., a Staten Island-based mason and stone contractor, was issued two serious citations with $1,350 in fines for no written hazard communication plan and training and no eye protection.
